Vizzywig 2014 - Video Editor Multi Camera App Reviews

Vizzywig is a simple but effective app. Ive used it to make high quality videos. You would think you are a Hollywood producer!

Like the idea. But make the font bigger to read and the clips on the bottom easier to see and touch. And when clips are inserted from camera roll to VW they are cut off. Other than that love the app.

I have so many video apps, but I just cant understand how to use them. This is my go to for video. Its very high quality and simple to use!

I havent used it much, but the movies that I have created with it were very impressive. High quality, with many unique features and very easy to edit. I love this app, so far. I wish I had more space in my phone to create more movies!!!

This app is a very user friendly way to turn your individual videos into a movie. Interface is easy to use and understand, editing takes a little practice, but works great. I enjoy using the app and think you will too.

As an independent filmmaker, the multi-camera functionality of this app held promise based on all the stellar reviews and features promised on iTunes. However, the time Ive wasted testing it and trying to get it to work has cost me 100X more than the $30 I paid for the app. How did I waste so much time? Because no-one is available to help via the support email address, apparently, and my simple questions have gone unanswered for a month; there is no support phone number; there is no current or useful user manual, no FAQ section, no support forums, nothing. So... I muscled through testing and exploring the app in hopes of realizing all the promised benefits. This actually calls for a Zero Star, given the lack of support alone. I have several iOS devices Ive tested in various combinations: iPad 3, iPad Air, iPhone 5c, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s Plus... Problems: 1. Different format delivered from various devices (in spite of settings all set the same) 2. The multi camera operation inconsistently assigns any one of the devices as the sound recording device for the Session and there is no way to specify which device you want to do it NOR any indicator of which device the app has chosen. 3. App crashes on Stage device regularly regardless of which device is being used as the Stage. 4. Switching cameras while recording - highly inconsistent lag for angle changes 5. Files transferred to the Stage device after recording are regularly NOT original high Rez files as claimed. 6. Other problems I dont have time to enumerate... Actual immediate support from the developer to solve these problems might allow me to change this rating and credit Vizzywig in the productions of our Amazon Prime dramatic crime series. Fingers crossed.

For me the best app

I liked this a yr ago but now the app wont let me use multiple camera angles to edit into movie. The really frustrating part is that several emails and a Facebook private message remain unanswered. Theyve got my money...guess they dont need me to be able to really use this. I initially loved the ease of use. But the mustve changed something...will do no more that my camera phone does. Would love to discuss a remedy....if only theyd return my inquiries

Edit*** Id like to see 4K and 60fps support or even 1080 support for multi camera but I have no clue the working behind it so that may be asking a lot. A day free for the Vizzywig 4K would be awesome! Lol I am glad to see the lower price, I need to buy it eventually *** I was a professional photographer for a number of years before moving on to another career. While I dont use the same equipment nearly as often, I do take a lot of photos and videos of my family and also at work (executive protection/security consulting). So, I still use the latest and best software for editing. Looking for a different video editor (and unlike photoshop, not having Adobe software for the phone/ipad) I found vizzywig. After making a ridiculously stupid video from clips with snapshots, I used two iPhones and two iPads and set up the remote cameras. It was surprisingly easy to use. While it took a minute to figure out how to import everything (tried to wing it without directions) it came out great! I contract with a local police department as a firearms instructor and being able to set up multiple cameras will be an incredibly useful training tool. As for reliability, I have had none of the issues another poster had mentioned (Im not discounting his experiences in any way, just noting that I have yet to have crashes during filming or audio being out of sync). What I did experience after the first time using remote cameras with all devices running iOS 8 was the app closing on both phones when I tried to import video immediately after I stopped recording. Fearing I lost something in the process, once the app restarted all the videos synced as expected. That only happened that once and it has performed as expected since. With the app being free yesterday, I emailed about 10 friends of mine telling them they need to get this, even if its no longer free. Not only is it an enjoyable app, I see a lot of potential for it in certain aspects of my line of work and for those friends that work in similar fields. I wish I would have thought of this!! Jon C. Love it... Just truly truly amazing!

Ive been using this app for a while and I got to say its awesome! There are a lot of features you can play with its also easy to use and its totally free! It helps me hone my acting abilities I recommend this!!!

Used to be so much more in the beginning, now its missing all of the editing features.

How about updating the app for 4K iPhone 6s Plus? Or a costumers low price to update to 4K version app in app purchase

I have not found this to be particularly intuitive to use. Its slow and confusing. Most, though, I am very disappointed in the frequency of crashes. For such an expensive app, its very unreliable.

Excellent for a novice. Videos can be made in minutes. Thank you for a great app of this kind.
